National Examination Board has rescheduled the date for the Grade XI examinations set for May 8 to 17. The exams were being rescheduled as the Election Commission has already published the schedule for local level election and instructed schools to remain shut from May 8 to 14, said Dilli Rimal member secretary at the NEB.
The local level election is taking place on May 14. The EC had issued such instruction with a view to using schools as polling stations.
As per the new schedule, the Grade XI exams will be conducted from June 15 to 25 as it was scheduled for May 8 to 17. However, the examinations of Grade XII will be conducted in the stipulated time, the NEB stated.
